Since its Friday and people will be leaving work early, I am posting at this time so less people see it. This way, when it is completly incorrect, people won't call me out on it. But If I am correct about anything, I'll be sure to link back to this post to prove how smart I am.
Southeast Division 2007-2008 Predictions
1. Washington Wizards (46-36) (4 seed)
Gilbert's injury is not the reason they were a 7 seed. They were falling apart way before that. I give them a few more wins because they will finally have the same starters for two years in a row, mainly DeShawn Stevenson. They shouldn't lose 9 of their first 13 this year. Other than that, same old same old.
2. Orlando Magic (44-38) (6 seed)
Dwight Howard is amazing. Adding Rashard Lewis will get them a few more wins. They should take over this division next year (when Gilbert leaves).
3. Miami Heat (43-39) (8 seed)
Shaq is the Roger Clemens of the NBA. He plays when he wants. I see him chasing bad guys and playing with toys most of the regular season. Plus they were awful this offseason. Still they will get a playoff bid in the terrible East.
4. Charlotte Bobcats (36-46)
Gerald Wallace. Stay away! I see J-Rich helping this team a little, but they are too young. Gerald Wallace needs to step up and become a superstar. Watch out for them next season.
5. Atlanta Hawks (26-56)
I really don't have much to say. Maybe Horford will be a Gator-aid?
What do I know anyway? Not much...
