With the 35th pick in the 2000 NBA Draft the Washington Wizards select: Mike Smith, Small Forward, University of Louisiana at Monroe.

The Wizards already had a Mike Smith, his name was Mike Smith. They drafted the other Mike Smith anyways, and he made it in to 17 total games in his career before he was waived a year later.

Diagnosis: BUST

Where Is He Now?

Mike Smith played last season for Halcones UV Cordoba, a team in the Mexican LNBP League. (Liga Nacional De Baloncesto Profesional). He is their starting forward, and averaged 17.2 points per game last season. He ended up getting honorable mention (aka fourth team) All LNBP Team.
