Sunday night didn't get any better for D.C. sports fans after a depressing Redskins Loss. The Wizards were blown out in the fourth quarter and lost to a clearly superior Miami team 99-71. The Heat closed out the game on a 21-0 run and the Wizards didn't score a basket for 7 minutes.
It's obvious the Heat did'nt want to got through another embarrassing loss to the lowly Wizards and its also obvious that with the roster Miami has, it should never happen again. Five players for the Heat were in double digits.
Coming off the bench, the Wizards most consistent scorer, Jordan Crawford had one of his worst night as a pro. Crawford had just two points on 1-7 shooting from the field and routinely forced bad shots
Despite trailing for most of the game it took until the fourth quarter for the Heat to finally pull away. The Wizards did a good job of hanging around but without any production from Jordan Crawford a win was just not in the cards Sunday night.
In fact the Wizards got as close as seven before Miami went on a 21-0 run to end the game. The Wizards failed to score a point in the final 6:58 of the game and scored just 11 total in the fourth.
Lebron James lead the Heat with 24 points and Ray Allen dropped 20 off the bench. Just a reminder that Miami has more firepower then nearly any other team in the NBA.
Kevin Seraphin lead the Wizards offense with 14 points but did so shooting just 6-15 from the field. Cartier Martin was next, he had 13 in 26 minutes off the bench.
