Back To The Futures

I decided to check out the latest Vegas futures to see how the NBA teams are being placed in Vegas. The Wizards are basically the best of the worst, with a 30-1 chance of winning the NBA finals. (Dallas is at the top)

There are 8 teams in the East with better odds to win and 8 teams in the West. Teams like the Warriors, Magic, and Raptors are getting better odds. Really? The Warriors have a better shot in the west to win the NBA finals?

I don't really get how all this works as I would never bet on something this crazy. I will never understand how they come up with these numbers but if you want to check it out, here is where I found these numbers. Vegas Insider.
