According to the San Antonio Express News, the Wizards have made an offer to Fabricio Oberto.

From what the article says, Washington has made an offer. It didn't mention if Fabricio accepted it yet.

The Wizards were expected to wait for the scraps, but they probably felt like they had to jump at the chance to sign this guy. He was a step above all the other names, and the guy played in over 40 playoff games and has won a Championship.
