Kentucky & The Wizards

So a radio show asks Gary Williams a stupid question as a half-joke and next thing you know it the PTI show has it as a topic.  Would the college basketball team the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Washington Wizards in a game.  Williams said the Cats could win at Rupp in the 3rd game of a Wiz back 2 back 2 back.  (Bog)

First, the Bobcats are worse than the Wizards.  That makes this a semi-interesting local radio question and makes no sense in the National media.  Nothing else must be going on in the NBA.

Wilbon isn't falling for this debate, which happens in all sports when a team performs really poorly.  He thinks Trevor Booker would destroy the Cats and the Wiz would win by 30.  Kornheiser seemed to think that it could be closer than that.

Honestly out of the 5-6 guys from Kentucky that will play in the NBA, how many of them will pan out?  The year Wall came out 4 other Cats were drafted.  Could John Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Orton, and Patterson beat the Wiz?  How about Enus Kanter's 4 points per game.  Would that trump Nene?

This debate is so terrible, but just another way the Wizards are the laughing stock of the NBA. Even without Nicky and Pierre.
