Long Road Trip Starts Tonight

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Monday, March 12, 2012

The Wizards will begin a six game road trip tonight in San Antonio.  After a big win against the Lakers and a let down against the Blazers, the Wizards and their airball layups & alleyoop passes that go 30 feet out of bounds will be facing a team that doesn't f around.

After Tim Duncan shows JaVale McGee what a "fundamental" is, the Wiz go to Dallas to get Dirked, then face a similarily terrible team in the Hornets.  Next up is the above .500 Hawks in ATL followed by the Grizzlies who are somehow the 4th seed in the West these days.  The road trip finishes up in New Jersey in a game where Deron Williams is likely to score 60 points against John Wall and the Wiz.

Hopefully the Wizards can return to Verizon in a week and a half with a 10th win, but it is probably going to be rough to watch.  At least they aren't going to the west coast and the latest game is 8:30.  And hopefully they return without Nick Young and Andray Blatche...
