Jan Vesely Records First Ever "Jan Trick"

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Saturday, January 5, 2013

One of my favorite parts of basketball is the triple double.  It is a really cool accomplishment, although it is often tainted by idiots trying to rack up stats.  (And by idiots I mean this Wizards player and this Wizards player)

I kind of like hockey's "hat-trick" better because it is hard to "rack up" goals in a cheap way (although many are achieved on an empty net).

Well last night Jan Vesely just accomplished a "triple-hat-trick".  Jan had a hat trick in points, a hat trick in fouls and a hat trick in missed foul shots!  The Jan-Trick!!!

Jan accomplished this feat in just 13 minutes of playing time!  What a performance!

Sadly the Jan-Trick was wasted as the Wizards fell to the Nets 115-113 in double overtime.

And if you aren't aware about JANuary, we are raising money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.  Whenever Jan Scores, the Charity scores!  Go here to pledge  (it is fast, easy, and you can use a credit card) and remember to cheer loud for Jan Vesely all January long! (and beyond).
