Magic Johnson Says "Go Wizards", John Calipari Booed

Magic Johnson was in town to speak at Howard University and to meet with President Barack Obama, so he decided to go to Verizon Center to check out the Wizards vs Knicks game on Wednesday night.

After a brief interview with CSN's Chris Miller, Magic decided to throw in one final comment, seemingly out of the blue:

"Go Wizards! Everybody come out and see this team, they are young and exciting"

WHAT!?  REALLY!? Steve Buckhantz said that Magic had a great relationship with Abe Pollin so that may have had something to do with it.

John Wall's former college coach from Kentucky John Calipari was also in the building.  He didn't exactly get the same ovation as Magic:
