Nene Returns, Wiz Win 2nd Straight

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Thursday, April 19, 2012

The Wizards won their second straight game last night against the Milwaukee Bucks at Verizon by a score of 121-112.  The Bucks decided they were not going to play defense and the Wizards took advantage led by Jordan Crawford's 32 points.  (Papa John's 50% off today!)

The Wizards actually shot almost 56% from the field.  John Wall had 14 and 10, Janet racked up 10 boards, and even Chris Singleton scored in double figures.  Shelvin Mack only had 2 points, but as we are reminded every 10 seconds he will be on Twitter today!  Wow!

Some good news for the Wizards was that Nene made a somewhat surprising return to the lineup.  In 18 minutes of play he scored 14 points, and reminded us that he will be around next season to put up similar numbers.

The Wizards have won 4 of their last 6 games and now have 16 wins with 4 games to play.  That leaves them with a maximum amount of wins of 20.  If Cleveland loses out their last 5, they end with 20 wins.  If the Hornets only win one of their final 4 games, they end with 20 wins.  Highly unlikely, but still possible.
