Wizards 78, Bucks 75
Brad Beal’s aggressive play helped lead a Wizards comeback
and the Wiz defeated the Bucks on Wednesday afternoon in Vegas to cap off a 3-2 summer league.
Beal used the second half to start
attacking the basket instead of just shooting jumpers. He scored several layups off the dribble and
drove into the lane at will. The former Gator led the Wizards with 18 points. Beal is supposed to be a "shooter" but if he can attack the basket and create space, he should be able to make an impact in his rookie season.
Shelvin Mack & Chris Singleton did what they do. They were streaky, made several good plays
and several bad plays. Both are good
College/D-League players but in the NBA they don’t really fit in. Vesely twisted his ankle in the first 2
minutes of the game and did not return.
The summer league is now over for the Wizards, and the next thing to look forward to is training camp...
