Note: I wondered why I always put my shoes on the wrong feet. I guess because my feet are on backwards. Nice catch by commenter.
Lebron dribbles the ball towards the basket from half court. He picks up his dribble and Hops to the top of the key. He holds his foot there for 2 seconds, plenty of time to see if anyone is open. He looks left. He looks right. He waits for the foul call but knows he only gets the call on the first step about 10% of the time. This also gives him time to change directions.
He then Skips closer to the basket, in the opposite direction. This makes it hard to take a charge or get in front of him. He then takes another 2 seconds to decide what to do, and waits for the foul call. Worry isn't setting in, but Lebron knows at this stage its a 40% foul rate.
Next, he Jumps the opposite direction again into the paint. At this time he starts to panic. 3 steps and there hasn't been a foul call yet. At this point its 80% foul rate. They may not call a foul this time. What Is he paying the refs for anyway! He doesn't forget to take his final 2 second pause.
He now takes his final Leap and decides in midair whether to shoot or pass. At this point in his routine, if the whistle hasn't blown, some ref is not getting their bonus from David Stern. The foul rate is 99%! But even in that 1% chance a foul isn't called, Lebron has given the Cavs a good attempt at 2 points.
By the time he finishes up the leap stage, he has covered 45 feet (1st down!), killed 8 seconds on the shot clock, taken 0 dribbles, fouled 1 player, & travelled 2 times, but finished with 2 pts, 1 assist, or 1 foul.

I'm a Cavs fan and even I enjoyed this post. Here's to a solid game three for everyone.
I guess this is the new 'Roc Boy' dance that LBJ was talking about.
As a Cavs fan I throughly enjoyed this as well. Only mistake that I see is the labeling on the feet. Looks like L is on the right foot and R is on the left foot...
Darius Songalia on the Wiz has a similar move. Actually I don't think he is pausing, he is just so slow. But he seems to take long slow steps. Not as clever as Lebron. Haywood & Big Z also travel every time they touch the ball.
