TV & Movie Star Says Crew Of Southland With Shaq Could Beat The Wizards

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Wednesday, February 27, 2013

On Wednesday morning actor Shawn Hatosy joined the Junkies on 106.7 the fan.  Hatosy is currently on the television show Southland and has been on tons of shows including Dexter, and was in movies like the Faculty and Alpha Dogs.

Hatosy mentioned that Shaquille O'Neal was a guest star from yesterday's filming on Southland and tweeted the following picture of himself, Shaq, and co-stars Ben McKenzie from the OC, and Michael Cudlitz:

Before his interview with the Junkies was over, Hatosy decided to throw in a Wizards zing!

"Its 4 guys on the cast and Shaq, and I'm thinking that if we played the Wizards before John Wall came back, we probably would have beat them"

LOL.  I think he threw in "4 guys" to make the zing work.  Good effort nonetheless.

Charles Barkley Drafts Injured Bradley Beal For NBA Rising Stars

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Thursday, February 7, 2013

On Thursday night, the NBA had the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge draft, where Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neil were each the general managers of the opposing teams.  Chuck & Shaq, the self proclaimed "Black Jerry Colangelo" went through a draft to select their teams through a predetermined pool of first and second year players.

"I'm gonna go with the guy I thought would be the 2nd best rookie this year, Bradley Beal" - Chuck

Tweeted By @NBAonTNT

With the 8th pick, Charles picked Bradley Beal, unaware that Beal is injured.  When he was told this fact by Ernie Johnson he seemed surprised, and wanted to backtrack. Denied.  Beal will be on Team Chuck.  Don't worry Chuck, he should be good to go by then.

Go here to watch and FF to 3:30 in for the Beal Pic:

The fans will now pick who the starting 5 will be.

Beware! The Big Babysitter Is Coming!

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Monday, July 27, 2009

The Big Babysitter (Shaquille O'Neil) is in DC right now, getting ready to be on Monday Night Raw tonight.

Last Friday, Shaq was on the new 106.7 The Fan and Mike Wise asked him about some comments Flip Saunders made about the Big Babysitter. Flip, when asked about Shaq basically said that everybody saw what happened in Phoenix. (Phoenix fell apart)
Shaq replied with some strong words for Flip, saying that he will "see him soon" He also threw in this line:
"Too bad for Haywood, too bad for McGee...cuz I'm comin'"

He left out "Too bad for Blatche" I wonder why...anyways should be some good games this year with the Cavs...

The Wizards Better Somehow Get Amare Stoudemire

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Thursday, June 25, 2009

OK Fine. They don't NEED Amare. But they sure as hell need some more big guys...

Shaq & Dwight Howard...

That is what the top teams in the East are looking like in the big man arena now that @THE_REAL_SHAQ is now supposedly on the Cleveland Cavs.

Who on the Washington Wizards is going to guard them? Brendan Haywood...and when he is out JaVale McGee & Andray Blatche? What about when all 3 of those guys get in foul trouble after hacking Shaq every time he touches the ball. Antawn Jamison, a "power forward" on Dwight Howard?

Sure the undersized Wizards have proven they can beat the best, but that is in the regular season. Do you really think that Shaq & Lebron, or Howard and the Finals Magic won't win a 7 game series. If I recall the Cavs won 3 WITHOUT Shaq.

While the trade for more guards yesterday may have looked good for about a minute, it is starting to look a little worse. Not because of the players, because the team improved. It is because they don't have enough big bodies to cover a guy like Shaq & Howard and I wonder if they have the pieces remaining without the #5 to bring in somebody.

Shaq obviously isn't as dominant as he used to be but...seriously...he won't power over Andray Blatche?

Is the 2nd round still the goal? If so the Wiz have a chance to make their dreams come true. If winning a championship is their goal, they better trade their whole team now to rebuild because they don't have the pieces.

Shaq Traded To The Cavs, Wizards Fans Look Forward To A Championship In 2018

Written By Chris C-Ford ----

Shaquille O'Neil is now on the Cavs.

What the F is up with NBA "trades".

Ben Wallace (stinks) Sasha Pavlovic (stinks) and a late draft pick (stinks) for Shaq?

According to Yahoo! this is the deal.

The Wizards lost 3 years in a row to the Cavs manning up on Zydrunas Ilgauskas, now they have to deal with Shaq?

There is a lot of talk about how Shaq causes a team, as Michael Lee puts it, to regress. I agree Shaq can hurt the chemistry of a team, especially being injured a lot, not playing big minutes, and being less dominant than the old young Shaq.

But the Cleveland Cavaliers are not a team. They are a man. And even Shaq can't cause a man to regress.

Waiting for the next big move...and could be waiting for a while...

Latest Trade Rumor: Shaq & The Phoenix Suns

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Tuesday, June 23, 2009

A lot of good stuff in the Chad Ford article today, talking about possible trades for the #5 pick including:

"The Suns could do something with Shaq."

PG: Javaris Crittendon
SG: Gilbert Arenas
SF: Caron Butler
PF: Antawn Jamison
C: Shaq

Pretty vague statement. Not sure that this would be a good thing if it involves getting rid of Etan Thomas and upsetting Brendan Haywood. I can't see Shaq in a Wiz uniform anyway. Shaq would play limited minutes, but can still pound it inside better than anyone the Wiz currently have. He would bring in the crowds as well. Orlando, Miami, Phoenix. Warm weather. Shaq won't want to be here.

Shaq Getting Divorced

Written By Chris C-Ford ---- Wednesday, September 5, 2007

According to MSNBC, Shaq has filed for divorce against his really small wife. (You could put out the Chicago fire with this) This reminded me of the recent divorce of Michael Jordan and his wife.

This is an interesting Fox News article about a report Forbes did on celebrity divorces.

Divorce has its price — and no celeb, it appears, knows that better than Michael Jordan. The basketball superstar's split last December from his wife of 17 years, Juanita, is No. 1 on Forbes.com's list of "The 10 Most Expensive Celebrity Divorces."

1. Michael Jordan (> 150 mil)
2. Neil Diamond (150 mil)
3. Steven Spielberg (100 mil)

There was a TV special that talked more about this on the E! channel which I did not see.

(He's a forward, you need to see a guard)

No one ever gets my jokes...
